THE HIDDEN POWER OF THE GOSPELS

Alexander J Shaia. gave a talk on The Hidden Power of the Gospels at St Andrew's on The Terrace, on 27 April 2010.

“There is an underlying progression of growth in the universe, and the pattern is four-fold. I am convinced of it. And I have named that four-ness Quadratos.”

Alexander J. Shaia is the son of Lebanese immigrants to Birmingham Alabama. After college, he briefly entered seminary, received two masters’ degrees and began travelling North America, speaking to clergy and lay Christians about practices that aid individual and community transformation.

In the early 1990s he entered a doctoral programme in clinical psychology, while continuing to be an educator, psychologist, spiritual director, liturgist, writer and speaker. He has been ‘living’ between New Zealand and Australia as he prepared material for a book.
